Titanium Rings

Titanium Wedding Bands: Popular Among Millenials and Easily Able to Withstand a Millenium

What Is Titanium?

If you’re looking for a ring to give to a special someone in your life, one that will let them know how much you love them and that your love will last forever, why not give them a ring that will last just as long? With a tensile strength of more than 63,000 PSI and a melting point above 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit, it is one of the strongest and most resilient metals ever discovered. Found in the deepest reserves of the Earth’s crust ever touched by man, in rocks on the surface of the moon collected during the Apollo 17 mission and even detected on the molten surface of stars such as our Sun and others millions of lightyears away. This metal is found in every living thing, including inside your very own body. This metal is titanium.

The word ‘Titanium’ is derived from the Greek word ‘Titans’ and means “the first sons of Earth.” This metal is ideal for the person that wants to be able to do anything and everything without concern of damaging their treasured ring. Frankly, anywhere you choose to go, titanium has most likely been there before or currently exists there. Titanium is a very lightweight and durable metal, but just like any other metal it can scratch and dent. Having a high resistance to corrosion and a high strength to weight ratio, this metal truly is “one of the first sons of the Earth” and will be one of the last.

Aside from its strength and resilience, titanium can also be a beautiful alloy. With a naturally shiny, silver tone and the right properties to mold it into brilliant works of art, it is an ideal metal for jewelry. There are many different aspects you can choose from here at Jewelry by Johan and a list of options for each one. Here are a few:
