For the last 20 years, the color technology experts at PANTONE® have crowned a color as their flagship "Color of the Year". To ring in the new decade, they have selected Classic Blue as the face of 2020.

PANTONE® tells us that “(Classic Blue)... highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.”

Unlike last year’s Living Coral, Classic Blue is less of an accent color; it demands to be the center of attention. This makes it a little more difficult to pair with other colors than previous Pantone selections, but it’s a solid choice nonetheless! It is “classic”, after all.
