How does the custom men’s wedding band process work?

We’ve made the process of creating your own custom ring as simple as possible. You can fill out this custom design request form to start from scratch. Or, you can click “Customize this item” in any listing, telling us what you’d like to change/add to that design.

It doesn’t even have to be a listing on this page,you could start with one from our men's wedding band collection. You can even request a custom engagement ring and ask us to design you a matching wedding band for it, ensuring a perfect set. Whether you fill out the form or customize a listing, one of our customer service representatives will reach out to get any necessary details and answer your questions. They’ll be your point of contact at that point, guiding you through the process to ensure your ring turns out perfectly.

How long does it take to create a custom wedding band for men?

Our regular turnaround time for made-to-order items is 3 - 8 weeks (necessary shipping/transit time not included) this is highly dependent on metal, materials, and design complexity.

After payment is received and the accurate ring size is confirmed (see the next question below), your ring will be scheduled for production the next business day.

If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend calling to discuss desired delivery dates based on your purchase date. The estimated timeline is from the purchase date (shipping time not included). Custom orders that require CAD and/or casting services can take longer depending on materials and the complexity of the design.

How do I confirm my ring size?

Order our ring sizers here. It’s the best way to ensure the best fit for your custom rings. For ring orders with sizers, we’ll schedule your ring for production after you tell us your accurate ring size. Sizers can vary between stores, so we always recommend confirming your size with our ring sizers. Sizers from a different store can only be used as a rough estimate. Confirming your size with our custom sizers will cover your ring under our sizing guarantee. If you have any questions about getting accurately sized, please either read through the custom ring sizer listing or contact us.

Can I provide my own materials for a custom ring, like a gemstone, wood, or meteorite?

Yes, we welcome the opportunity to incorporate your own meaningful materials, whether it's wood, deer antler, a guitar string, or something else. To send anything to us, please go to our RGA request page and click “Send an Item to JBJ for Custom Work”. You’ll get a short form to fill out to receive instructions.
