Your journey begins with a free virtual consultation. Our experienced jewelry and design consultants are here to guide you, helping to refine your ideas and make informed decisions about design, materials, and budget. They'll ensure your concept is perfectly translated into a stunning piece.
Step 2:
Design
Once your vision is clear, our team develops the initial designs. We offer various options, including detailed sketches and 3D renderings, giving you a precise preview of your piece before production begins. Your feedback guides every iteration, ensuring the design is exactly what you envision.
Step 3:
Production & Delivery
With your approval, our meticulous jewelry designers in the USA begin crafting your piece. Each item is handcrafted to your exact specifications, combining traditional artistry with cutting-edge techniques to ensure exceptional quality and attention to detail.
Once your custom jewelry piece is complete and has passed our rigorous quality checks, it will be carefully packaged and shipped directly to you. Most custom orders are delivered within 3 - 7 weeks after production begins, ready for you to cherish!

Once you’re inspired by a design, you might already have some ideas of what materials you’d like to add to it or change. The sky is really the limit when it comes to what we can make a ring out of. Since 2008, we’ve gotten a lot of unique custom design requests. We’ve made a ring out of a jenga block for a couple that loves their game nights. We’ve made countless deer antler rings to turn hunting trips into wearable trophies. You can get inspired by more material ideas on our materials page, from bike chains and beach sand to golf tees and guitar strings.
We can design almost anything! While we specialize in custom engagement rings and wedding rings, our capabilities extend to necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and more. If you can dream it, we can design and craft it.

How to send other materials: For all customer-supplied materials, please download and sign the required JBJ Liability Waiver. Send it along with your material and complete the RGA form here for shipping instructions.
Our standard turnaround time for made-to-order items is typically 3 - 7 weeks* (this doesn't include shipping/transit time). This timeframe can vary based on the specific metals, materials, and overall complexity of your design.
Once we receive payment and confirm your accurate ring size, your custom piece is scheduled for production on the next business day.
*Turnaround time may be longer if:
- You order a custom ring sizer or free ring sizing kit. Production begins after you confirm your accurate size.
- Your order is time-sensitive. We highly recommend calling us to discuss desired delivery dates based on your purchase date. The estimated timeline starts from the purchase date (shipping time is extra). Custom orders requiring CAD and/or casting services may take longer depending on materials and design complexity.

Our Signature Styles collection features our most popular designs and materials, all ready to ship in just 1 - 3 business days. We also offer a catalog of other in-stock rings that also ship within 1 - 3 business days.
We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase, and also to know that your satisfaction will always be our top priority.
If you’re not completely satisfied with your item after you receive it, return it within the first thirty days and you will receive in-store credit for us to remake, replace, or modify your returned jewelry in the same size as ordered.
If we fail to meet your expectations, we will work with you until you’re satisfied. You can even cancel the entire transaction and get a full refund within the first three business days of your purchase if you change your mind.

We offer lifetime meteorite ring protection. Send us your meteorite ring for free cleaning and re-etching as many times as desired. We also offer a meteorite care kit for at-home cleaning.
We offer lifetime repair of Ring Armor. All of our antler, wood, and crushed material rings are sealed with a proprietary product we call Ring Armor that protects the material from moisture. If anytime after your purchase, you find a chink in your Ring Armor, if viable, we’ll repair it for free if the material underneath is not damaged.
For both of the above services, you only pay for shipping your item(s) to us. We’ll do our best to make your jewelry look as good as new and cover the cost to ship it back to you.
We highly suggest adding your items to your homeowner's insurance policy. It is a low-cost way to cover yourself in the event of loss, damage, theft, etc. Coverage costs will vary depending on your item value and geography, but for most people, insuring your jewelry will cost 1-2% of its value (e.g. a $5,000 ring will cost you an additional $50-$100 annually). Or, Jeweler’s Mutual offers affordable insurance coverage.
