It is important to note that the color and pattern of the antler can vary greatly from ring to ring. Effects on color and pattern include what the buck rubbed their antlers on, the geography they lived in, diet, genetics, and even age. Because of this, you can be sure that your custom deer antler ring will be one of a kind. This also means that the color of the antler in our photos may not be the same as the color in the item you receive. The good news, when ordering just let us know if you have a preference and we will do our best to use your preferred color and pattern of antler in your item.
The antler on the inner sleeve of this sandblasted titanium design is primarily white with contrasting specs of black.
The antler inlay on this design has a mix of beautiful colors and a more pronounced, grainy pattern.
The light brown antler on this ring perfectly complements the dark brown wood also featured in this wedding band design.
Adding a bit of dye to antler has a gorgeous, colorful result. We have a variety of hues available, including blue, red and green.

We will do our best to use one of our naturally-shed specimens that we believe will result in the final look you desire. If you are here for an in-person consult, you can see our specimens up close and make your selection. Otherwise, we will email you high-quality, scanned images to choose from like these. Each is numbered and you simply tell us the specimen number you prefer!
With Jewelry by Johan’s custom antler rings, hunters can now display their trophy bucks in a very unique way. Send us your antler and we can use it to craft your favorite ring design or other accessory, including necklaces, bracelets and cuff links.

Note: If your antler is too small, you can opt to have a crushed antler inlay.
Please only send the antler. If there is skull and/or fur still attached, we ask that you remove it prior to shipment.

If you are shipping the antler from outside of the United States, please follow the instructions below exactly:
A. Your package must ship via UPS/ FedEx (any other method your package will be refused and returned to you Postal Service or DHL).
B. After you prepare your package for shipment as the video above, include in the description:Wildlife: Antler (Scientific Name and the Common Name).
C. Send Jewelry By Johan the following information via the form below or to admin@jewelrybyjohan.com:
1. Copy of your shipping label.
2. Scientific Name (Genus – Species) and Common Name of your Antler, if you are unsure of the scientific name please look it up here: http://www.speciesplus.net/
3. Country of Species Origin.
E. DO NOT MAIL YOUR ANTLER UNTIL WE HAVE CLEARED IT WITH FISH AND WILDLIFE, WE WILL EMAIL YOU WITH A DECLARATION NUMBER STATING THAT YOU ARE CLEAR TO SHIP TO US THAT COMES FROM FWS. (GETTING CLEARANCE FROM FWS CAN TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS). IF YOU SHIP WITHOUT CLEARANCE YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE REFUSED AND RETURNED TO YOU, AND SUBJECT TO FEES.
F. The Declaration Number that we provide to you must then be clearly written on the outside of your package.
G. Once you have completed the above 5 steps, please go ahead and ship to us.
We will notify you when your antler arrives and provide you with an estimated shipping date for your finished item. When we ship your package to you, it will be sent to FWS first, and cleared for shipping.
Our proprietary Ring Armor clear coating is applied on all antler (crushed and solid) in our jewelry and it protects it from water, UV rays, and the typical nicks and scratches that can occur from everyday wear. In the uncommon event you notice your coating is damaged or compromised in any way, send it back to us and we'll repair the coating for free (your only cost is shipping).
