This stunning bridal set features a large, colorless moissanite stone in a solitaire, six prong setting. Crafted in polished gold with a traditional, minimalist design. The coordinating contour band features a thin inlay of white stardust, which is a combination of meteorite and gold flakes.
What Is A Moissanite?
Moissanite is a rare, naturally occurring mineral also known as silicon carbide. It was first discovered by a chemist, Dr. Henri Moissan, at the site of a massive meteorite strike in Arizona. It was deemed “moissanite” in his honor. Charles & Colvard's lab-created (man-made with the same chemical composition as created in nature) moissanite gemstones rival any natural gemstone for fire and brilliance, including the diamond. Needless to say, it has become a very sought after conflict-free, alternative gemstone.
