We are known for our rings, but we also offer a large selection of unique meteorite necklaces and meteorite pendants. Each type of meteorite – Gibeon, Sikhote-Alin and Campo Del Cielo – has its own unique color and pattern that results in a piece of statement jewelry that’s out of this world (literally).  Our meteorite necklace styles range from sleek and simple shapes to more edgy designs featuring rough meteorite rocks. If you have an idea for a custom meteorite necklace or want to modify one of our existing designs to better fit your style, contact our design consultants.

Genuine Meteorite Necklaces FAQs

Is meteorite hypoallergenic?

Meteorite is generally not hypoallergenic, as it commonly contains nickel—a known allergen for those with nickel sensitivities. For example, Gibeon meteorite comprises approximately 91.8% iron and 7.7% nickel, along with traces of cobalt, phosphorus, iridium, and gallium.

If you love the idea of meteorite but have concerns about allergies, our Stardust Collection offers a hypoallergenic alternative. These stunning designs feature genuine meteorite flakes blended with enamel (and often synthetic opal), creating a cosmic, space-inspired aesthetic without the direct skin contact of raw meteorite.

Additionally, when using meteorite inlays, placing them on the top of the ring—away from skin contact—and pairing with a hypoallergenic core metal (like titanium, zirconium, or platinum) further helps prevent allergic reactions.

Is your meteorite genuine?

Yes. We use authentic Gibeon meteorite in most of our jewelry, and every piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Beware of cheap imitations—many “meteorite” rings on the market are fake. Learn how to spot real vs. fake meteorite jewelry in our blog.

Can meteorite get wet?

Brief contact is fine; avoid prolonged exposure to water, saltwater, pools, and harsh chemicals.

How do I care for my meteorite jewelry?

With our meteorite care kit, you can use our de-corroder solution to remove any rust or corrosion that may develop on the surface of the meteorite due to exposure to moisture or environmental factors. This helps maintain the integrity and appearance of the jewelry.

Then, applying a wax polish creates a protective barrier to shield the meteorite from further oxidation and ensure its long-term preservation. Regular application of these treatments helps keep meteorite jewelry looking pristine while safeguarding its unique properties for years to come.
