Once a design is finalized, our typical turnaround time for a custom ring is 3 to 8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and the materials involved. If you have a personal heirloom material or a stone you would like to incorporate into your custom women’s wedding band, we’d be happy to put it in your ring and make something truly special.

How long does the custom wedding band process typically take?

There are two stages for making your custom wedding ring: Design and production. During design, we’d talk with you about what you’d want your dream ring to be. This would be done by email or during free consultations by phone or video. One of our customer service representatives will be your point of contact to update you on your ring or ask any follow-up questions that our production team might have for you.

Certain designs, like contour bands, require that renderings be made. This is to ensure that the contour band will fit perfectly against the engagement ring. If we aren’t making both rings at the same time, we ask that the engagement ring be sent in so we can measure it for accurate contour band renderings. These CAD renderings can take 1-2 weeks to come back depending on how many other renderings we’re making at the time, with revisions taking possibly much less time. Designs that don’t require a rendering can enter production much sooner, but these are limited to rings that have straight bands and don’t need to contour.

Once the ring enters production, it typically takes 3 to 8 weeks for it to be finished. This timeframe can vary depending on the complexity and materials needed for your custom design. Once your order is finalized, we’ll give you an estimated shipping date. If this is past/cutting it close to the date you need the ring by, let us know and we can move your ring up in the production queue. As a last resort, we can even provide you with a stand-in ring to use during your ceremony upon request.

Can you solder the wedding ring to the engagement ring?

If the contour band and engagement ring are made of the same metal, yes we can solder them together. This is great for keeping a contour band aligned with the engagement ring, preventing them from turning apart.

How do I confirm my ring size?

Order our ring sizers here. They are, by far, the best way to ensure the best fit for your custom rings since they’re made to match the width and fit of your final design. Sizes from a different store can only be used as a rough estimate, since tools can vary between stores. For ring orders with sizers, we’ll schedule your ring for production after you tell us your accurate ring size. The listing for our custom sizers explains the whole process, so you can rest easy that your ring will fit perfectly when it arrives. Can I use my own stones or materials in the band?

Yes, we welcome the opportunity to incorporate personal materials into your custom women's wedding bands. Most commonly, this is an heirloom stone. But we don’t just work with customer-provided stones, we’ve used sentimental pieces of wood, deer antler from hunting trips, sand or shells from beach vacations, and so much more.
