PANTONE® tells us that “vibrant, yet mellow PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment.”

This lively color has reversed the cool color trend of the last few years (Ultra Violet and Greenery), and is similar to the warmer Rose Quartz of 2016. That was the year they had two winning colors (indecisive, much?), which hasn’t happened since.

Lofty platitudes aside, we can’t help but agree with PANTONE's choice (mostly). Full transparency: we cringed a bit when we first saw the color. However, when we saw how Living Coral fits perfectly into several wedding color palettes, it REALLY started to grow on us. It’ll be exciting to see how this 2019 PANTONE Color of the Year finds its way into wedding decorations, fashion, jewelry, and more throughout the rest of the year!

We’ve pulled together peachy-pink design inspiration and hand-picked our favorite Living Coral wedding images and ideas. Keep reading to be inspired with wedding bouquets, stationery, bridesmaids dresses, wedding cakes and more. Pin your favorites on your Wedding Board on Pinterest!

Living Coral Wedding Color Palettes

Ever After Guide has great article with wedding photo inspiration featuring a lot of colors that go well with coral. Many of the palettes cross-over using more than three hues. Here's our own visual summary of their top picks.

Coral, Green and Ivory Wedding

A green box elder burl ring is an option to bring the vibrant greenery color into your wedding jewelry. Living Coral makes an excellent accent in the form of copper pinstripes!

If you’re looking for a simple wedding band, opt for a meteorite overlay ring.

Coral, Aqua, And Yellow Wedding

Match coral with these two citrus colors and you have a bright and happy tropical wedding palette.

The obvious wedding jewelry pairing is an aquamarine engagement ring like this three stone ring in yellow gold.
