Custom Sizer Shipment
Once you report your estimated size, we will ship a set of 3 custom ring sizers:- One at the specified estimated size,
- One a 1/2 size larger,
- And one a 1/2 size smaller.

Ring Creation
After confirming the best fit with the custom sizers, notify us of your chosen size. We will then begin crafting your ring according to our current turnaround time.
Why the Custom Sizer is Important
The custom sizer set serves as an insurance policy. If you choose not to order it, a re-make fee may apply if the ring does not fit upon arrival. However, if you purchase the sizer and it fits, we will remake the ring at no charge if any sizing issues arise.
Detailed Steps
Step 1: Initial Sizing Estimation
Upon placing your custom ring order, you will provide your estimated size or select “Unknown” to receive the Blue Sizing Kit for assistance. Use the sizing kit or app to find the most comfortable estimated size and record this size range.
Step 2: Custom Sizing Follow-up
Once you confirm your estimated size, we will send 3 custom ring sizers:
- One at the estimated size,
- One a 1/2 size larger,
- And one a 1/2 size smaller.
Try each sizer to confirm the best fit and note down your chosen size.
Step 3: Confirm Sizing & Begin Ring Creation
After you confirm the perfect size, notify us of your final selection. Jewelry By Johan will then start crafting your custom ring. With the Custom Ring Sizer set, you’re covered by an insurance policy that provides a complimentary remake if the fit isn’t perfect upon delivery.

Additionally, if you change your mind within three business days of purchase, we offer a full refund for your order.
We also guarantee the authenticity of our materials, such as meteorite and dinosaur bone, and provide a certificate of authenticity when applicable.
SIZING MADE SIMPLE
To ensure the perfect fit for your ring, it's important to correctly determine your ring size. We've created a comprehensive Sizing Guide for your convenience. This guide provides detailed instructions on how to accurately measure your ring size at home. Remember, it's always better to get your size right the first time around!
To ensure your ring fits perfectly, we highly recommend purchasing our custom ring sizers at the same time as your order. These sizers are crafted to match the width and size of your desired ring, helping eliminate sizing errors before production.
Remake Policy & Fees
If your ring does not fit, remake eligibility and fees depend on whether you used our custom sizers:
If You Ordered Custom Sizers with Your Ring:
- ✔️ If your ring arrives in the wrong size despite using our custom sizer, we will remake it for free (one-time) if returned within 30 days of delivery.
If You Did NOT Order Custom Sizers with Your Ring:
- Rings : 50% of the current retail price
- Signature Styles Collection: Eligible for a one-time exchange to a whole or half size within 30 days, subject to availability.
🔔 Important: If you choose not to use a custom sizer and determine your ring size independently, the applicable remake fee will be required if resizing is needed.
Be Informed
We want you, our valued customer, to be informed. On our website, in phone conversations, in email, and on the paper in your ring’s packaging, we will provide you with all necessary information about your ring’s materials and how to take care of and properly clean them. Lifetime Services
We want your jewelry to retain its beauty and durability. We offer lifetime services for all our rings—simply pay return shipping, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Ring Armor Coating Repair: If the clear protective coating (on wood, antler, etc.) gets scratched, we’ll fix it for free.
Meteorite Rings: Free cleaning and re-etching service.
Natural Material Repair: If the inlay (wood, antler, etc.) is damaged, we will assess repair options. If beyond repair, we offer a one-time replacement at 50% of the current retail price.
Black Ceramic & Tungsten Rings: If these materials chip or shatter, they are beyond repair. We offer a one-time replacement at 50% of the current retail price, upon return of the damaged ring.
🔔 Note: If you take your ring to another jeweler for resizing, repair, or cleaning, the guarantee is void.

Additional Protection
Our guarantee does not cover lost or damaged precious stones. However, your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy may cover loss, theft, or accidental damage.
💡 Insurance Tip: Jewelry insurance typically costs 1-2% of the item’s value annually. For standalone coverage, Jeweler’s Mutual offers affordable jewelry insurance.
