Custom Jewelry Design: CAD Rendering with Price Quote

This listing reserves dedicated design time with our team. You'll receive CAD renderings of your custom jewelry concept along with a detailed price quote, typically within two weeks.

If you proceed with your design, the design fee is credited toward your purchase. The custom design process averages 8 weeks from approval to completion, plus shipping.

First CAD renderings and quote: within 2-3 weeks of us receiving your concept (and size, if it's a ring). Includes two revisions; extras are $50 each.

Production: 3-4 weeks after approval, depending on complexity and materials.

How Custom Design Works
  1. Tell us your vision. When you order, share everything you can: pictures you've found, sketches, a piece you'd like altered. Email it to support@jewelrybyjohan.com with your name or order number.
  2. Confirm your size. For rings, we build your CAD to your exact size, so our free Assured Accuracy sizing program comes with this listing automatically. The Ring Sizing drawer below walks you through it.
  3. See your design. Within 2-3 weeks of having your vision and size, you'll receive your CAD renderings and a detailed price quote. Two revisions are included, each taking a few business days, so you can shape it until it's right.
  4. Approve and order. We'll set up a private listing made just for you, with your final CADs, your item's specifications, your quote (minus everything you've already paid), and your delivery timeline.
  5. We craft your piece. Once we have everything we need, we'll give you your confirmed shipping date and get to work. Production takes 4-6 weeks depending on complexity and materials.

Your design fee reserves real design time with our team, so it isn't refundable, but every dollar of it is credited toward your finished piece.

Ring Sizing

Your ring is made to order and won't enter production until your size is confirmed. Our free Assured Accuracy sizing program is added to your cart automatically.

  1. Place your order: We hold your ring while sizing is sorted out.
  2. Measure at home: Your sizing kit arrives in 1-2 business days. Let us know which size fits.
  3. Confirm the fit: We craft a custom sizer in that size, at your ring's width. It ships out in 1-3 business days (or ~1 week if not in stock). Wear it for a day and tell us how it fits.
  4. We craft your ring to the size you confirmed; that's our sizing guarantee.

Already know your size? You can remove the program from your cart, but that bypasses the perfect-fit guarantee. Sizing can differ between jewelers, so we strongly recommend our sizing program.
