This custom made, meteorite dinosaur ring pairs Gibeon Meteorite with prehistoric dinosaur bone inlays on a sandblasted titanium sleeve.
The beautiful crystalline patterns in Gibeon meteorites are known as Widmanstätten patterns and are unique to meteorites. These patterns only appear after millions of years of cooling down. There is literally nothing else on earth that has these characteristics and this is what makes this ring so incredibly special.
Agatized dinosaur bone is the result of fossilized bone from dinosaurs. The cellular structure has been replaced by quartz leaving the bone structure intact. Dinosaur bone ranges in color from browns to blacks and can have splotches of red, blue and yellow. The attractive coloring is the result of impurities that were present in the surrounding sediment.
Crushed vs. Solid Dinosaur Bone Opt for solid dinosaur bone if you'd like a more prominent pattern and bolder color. Crushed dinosaur bone, which has a lower cost, usually results in a darker color, more subtle pattern and is coated with our Ring Armor protection.

*The mineral troilite is present in meteorite and may be visible in your finished item. If you’d like to ensure no troilite can be seen, purchase the troilite-free meteorite add-on. Learn more about troilite in meteorite jewelry.
**Sandblasted titanium/precious metal rings, like all jewelry metals, will acquire surface scratches or scuffs through everyday wear. Scratches will be particularly evident in new ring, but as the ring is worn it will develop a natural and even pattern.
