Most cremation jewelry keeps ashes in a compartment. We make those too. But the method we developed in 2009 works differently. A channel is machined into the piece, the ashes are set into that channel, and the whole inlay is sealed under Ring Armor, a clear protective coating. There is nothing to unscrew and nothing that can work loose. The ashes become part of the piece, and you can see them.

Cremation rings for men

Wider bands from 6mm to 10mm in titanium, tungsten, black ceramic, black zirconium, Damascus, gold and platinum. A wider band holds a larger inlay, so more of the ashes stay visible. Men often choose a single wide channel, sometimes divided by a metal pinstripe, and often paired with meteorite or dinosaur bone. Cufflinks are a common choice for a father or grandfather.

Cremation jewelry for women

Narrower bands from 2mm, stacking rings, pendants and bracelets. A narrow band takes a finer inlay, which suits ashes mixed with crushed birthstone or backed with colored enamel. Many women choose a piece that sits alongside an existing wedding set rather than replacing it.

What can be set into a piece besides ashes

Hair. Dried flower petals from the funeral. Sand or soil from a place that mattered. A string from their guitar. Wood from a tree on their property. Ashes can be combined with any of these, or with meteorite, dinosaur bone, antler, wood or crushed stone. There is no metal we cannot set an inlay into.

We opened in 2008 with a lathe in a garage and made our first ash inlay in January 2009. Since then we have made pieces for more than 200,000 customers. Everything is made by hand in our workshop in Oakdale, Minnesota, and everything carries a lifetime craftsmanship warranty.

Materials arrive at our building and stay there. They are labeled and photographed on arrival, kept in a locked room, and scanned against your job order number at every step, so we always know where a set of ashes has been, who handled it and when. Anything we do not use comes home in the container you sent it in, in the same box as the finished piece.
